AUG . 30 Al Salaverria led all but two laps through three l O-Iap heat races to win the Advanced class a t the SMX/Yamaha YSR50 T rack Challenge Race of Champions, held at 18 Sou.thern California's Willo~ Spnngs -Raceway. Salaverna also won both heats in the L igh tweigh t Advanced class in the regular SMX program held.p rior to the feature event.
