The overall win went 10 Portland Honda rider Kurt Stevens via two first place finishes, but several riders were scrapping for the next four overall positions. The first moto found Yamaha-mounted Jayroe Nickle out-distancing Chris Moritz and Devol Engineering's own Ted Devol across the line for second. The second mow found Moritz able to hold off a hard-charging Devol for second while Nickle and Rod Crater took fourth and fifth. The 80cc Intermediate class also had some close racing during the day with the battle of the northwest Mini titans taking place.
