Many of Lhe sections had tight turns filled wiLh rocks, logs, roots al')d loose, mealy dirt requiring excellent bike control. Hollien commented after Lhe event, "This was a uials where hopping and rear end flicks really paid of(." A very close match developed between Bob Foringer and Ted Kellogg with both riders handing in a final score of 80 points. The tie had to be determined by cleans. With eight more cleans, Kellogg took home Advanced class honors. Intermediate Mark Pettit leveled his competition with a 30-point margin. Pettit had his of(-eamber, up hill turns dialed in dropping only 29 points for the day. Rich Slater bested his competitors winning Senior B wiLh a 20 point total. Senior A honors went to Bob Schrader. Raymond Peters collected his second win in Lhe Novice class dropping only 12 points. This win will move Peters into Lhe Intermediate class. Peters said, "This was a weI! organized event. Sections number one and number nine could have had a few more twists added to make Lhem more interesting." An excellent ride was handed in by Richard Freer in Lhe Beginner class with a winning score of 45. This was Freer's first ride. Results PRE: 1. C. Hollien (Veml. EX: 1. M. Komer (Mon); 2. T.
