Edge 1 1 ANCHORAGE, -AK, MAY 17 Joe Good on his ArctiC Cat-Suzukisponsored Suzuki RM swept the 125cc Expert and Pro classes by winning all four motos at Kincaid Park. In the past two races, crashes have plagued Good, even though he still managed to take the overall victories. Today he kept it upright to pad his lead in the Alaska Motorcycle Racing Association's Championship Series. Jason Anderson, riding for Kawasaki of Anchorage, has been Good's main competition in the 125cc Expert class. Anderson·has been the only other rider to win a moto besides Good, but he had to settle for second in both motos. The Pro class first moto was a repeat of the 125cc Expert class. Good pulled the ho~eshot and led every lap. The second moto was different though. Kawasaki of Anchorage's Jim McClain took the lead after the start with Good in tow. The two kept everyone awake with the best dice of the day. Good finally . got by on lap five and kicked in the afterburners to take the checkered flag. McClain crossed the finish line 20 seconds later. McClain took second overall with a 2-2, Anderson alSo used consistency and a 3-3 for third overall. McClain has' his eyes set on the 500cc Expert Championship and won both 500cc Expert motos over 1986 champion Bruce Stingley. Stingley placed second overall. McClain's'Kawasaki of Anchorage SPAPER!
