.First, Keith Turpin and Ronnie Tichenor clutched first and second place in 125cc
Right on, Suzuki
Supercross action at Tampa, Florida. In that race, they also established themselves as
first and second place points leaders in the AMA Eastern 125 Supercross Series.
Then, the following weekend in Phoenix, Arizona, Donny Schmit and Willie
Surratt grabbed first and second, putting Surratt in a tie for the top spot in the
AMA Western 125 Supercross Series.
Of course, they were riding Suzuki's RM125, one of the year's winningest 125cc
motocrossers in tough national competition. .
With successes like these, and a bike like the RM125, chances are good
