Kild ee' s bill (H R 148) will close off 93,000 acres to all recreational and off-highway veh icle u se. N aturall y, lumber , mining and gene ral tourism will also cease. This in areas where unemployment is up to 18%and in a sta te where tour ism is th e seco n d la r gest ind us try. Kildee's bill already sai led th rough the H ouse o n April 7. .Presentl y it's up in th e Se na te Committe o n Agriculture. If or when th e bill comes o ut of this com m ittee , it will go to the floor of th e Senate for vote . Take a guess how Cranston and Kennedy and Byrd and so o n will vote? I want everyone of you Cal iforni ans to send a letter off to Senator Pet e Wi lson opposing HR 148. Ob viously, all yo u Wolv eriners will send letters off to Senators Donald Ri egle and Carl Levin do ing same .
