Cologne dates
In the April 15th issue "Wind"
section, in an article starting off wilh
"For those who plan ahead," you
gave the date of the Cologne show
a September 21 through September
25.
You might also tell your readers
to "plan ahead" and remain in
Cologne for an additional year to see
the show, since it will be held in 1988,
not 1987 as the article implied by
omitting the year.
The Milan show will run this year
from November 21 to 29.

According to Ron's dad, Dick,
Lechien does have two of the biggest
feet in motocross, but he wears a size
13, not size 14. Because big feet can
be a handicap during a race, Lechien
forces his feet into size 12 boots and
suffers for the duration . .. Editor.

Ron's big feet
I had a bet with my riding partner
that Ron Lechien has the biggest
pair of feet (size 14) in motocross
racing. I also said that big feet are
usually a problem when it comes to
controlling a bike. Am I right or did
I just stick my foot in my mouth?

As motorcycling matures, our
needs evolve with it; now is the time
for us all to work for the betterment
of motorcycling. It is like Mr.
Holeman writes - nothing will
improve if we do not work for it.
For most of your subscribers, motorcycling is a way of life, a passion
- racing is not just all we are about.
Please keep Mr. Holeman writing
