And if it was a drag for him, you can imagine how the other racers must
have felt.
Not only did TerryVance win the opening round of the NHRA drag racing
series in Gainesville, but he set a new elapsed time record of 8.09 seconds for
the quarter mile. His speed: an amazing 165 mph. And of course, he did it on his
Suzuki Pro Stock racer.
Congratulations to Terry for another terrific achievement. .
At 8.09 seconds, we can't im~ne anyone having had a better time.
