Johnson continued to increase
his lead and by lap five Ward had
fallen almost 20 seconds behind and
was struggling through lapped
traffic with a pair of mud-wasted
goggles. Ward had to stop for fresh
goggles on lap seven and that virtually locked up the first-pl-ry
