1I.2-inch Brembo discs with double
action calipers while the rear uses the
KIOO 17-inch rear wheel and for the
first time features a rear disc. The
rear tire is also larger than the other
K75s - the S model sports a 1~0/
9OH-17 compared to the others' 120/
9OH-18.
The riding position for a 5-foot,
8-inch frame was near perfect and the
S-model's ~.9-inch narrower handlebars make it feel sportier than its
sister C-model.
The overall K75S package is tidy.
The bike looks pleasing with its
German styling and cast alloy
wheels, is right at home on fast,
mountain roads and is comfortable
enough to be used as a mediumrange tourer. It is easily the besl
handling BMW available and with
its redesigned fairing lhere is a
claimed lOP speed gain of 6 mph.
My neighbor and other BMW fans
will adore it.
