SUNDAY: 9 pm EST, 6 pm PST Tempo cable Network MILTON, FL, MAR. 8 It was a great day of racing for H~)fida-mounted Don Hudson as- he took home the winnings from the Pro class at Gateway Raceway. Good track conditions helped attract quite a few riders and spectators. During the first Pro mota, Bob Ricker took the holeshot, followed closely by Ed Kiley, and Keith English. Jady Joiner wasn't far behind the leaders, and he passed English' and Kiley to take over the second place position early in the mota. RiI;:ky Palmer and English tangled up at the bottom of the table top, but English wasn't about to give upas he put it all into clearing doubles and was the only rider to attempt this and succeed. English began making his way through the pack. English finally made his way back to fourth place. Kiley took over the first place spot when he passed Ricker on the backstretch. English was not far behind as he moved into the third place spot. Hudson came from well back in the pack and was soon challenging the leaders. Hudson jammed past Kiley and went on to 'score the first mota win. Kiley was second, followed by Chris R~dy. In the second mota, Kiley took the holeshot followed by English with Hudson in third. As the clan went into the first turn, English gained enough speed to clear the. double jumps to take the lead away from Kiley. English was running I :29 laps out front, holding off the pack. Kiley went down, handing the second place position to Joiner, who was charging through the pack. English tried to pull away, but couldn't get away from Hudson. Hudson slipped past, dropping English to second. Hudson pulled away from English and took the overall win. Results 60: 1. John Jernigan {Kaw}; 2. Joey Silcox (Kaw). I.
