Willi larth (M out Bfasdell went out to a 20-yard lead on Gerrish, who had a cushion on Eilts and the others. When the cneckered flag came out, Blasdell had the win with Gerrish and the other 250s following. Clark got a terrific jump on the pack in the final moLO followed by Blasdell, Eilts, Swires, Parker and Gerrish. Clark had about a 40-yard lead on Blasdell who turned up the wick and started to reel in the leader. Clark looked back, only to see Blasdell breathing down his back, but Blasdell couldR'tquitegun down Clark. When the checkered flag came out it was . Clark first.and Blasdell second, behind them was Eilts, Parker, Swires and Gerrish. Clark's spin-out in moto one gave Blasdell his second overall for the day.
