as fast as Lawson's because of his
weight and size.
The third and newe t member of
the Marlboro Yamaha squad is
japan's Tadahiko Taira. The multitime japanese champion switches to
the 500ccclass from Marlboro's 250cc
squad of 1986. Taira won a single
250cc GP last season in Italy at the
San Marino GP after bauling poor
starts throughout the season. He is
