Club (CRC) hosted the event
that saw a ~ay fu~l of exciting
supercross raong action.
Ray Sommo and Terry Fowler spent
plenty of time knocking handlebars
in both the 125 and 250cc Pro classes,
Sunday, with Sommo and Fowler
trading class wins.
At the start of the first 125cc Pro
maLO, Sommo blasted out of the starting gate and into the lead, while
John Flores and Fowler battled over
second place. Sommo set a blazing
pace that couldn't be matched as he
flew home to victory. Flores and
Sommoduelled throughout themoLO
with Flores edging in for the win.
In the second moLO, it was Sommo
once again out front, but this time,
Fowler was hot on his tail and ready
LO fight. The two leaders bauled
elbow-to-elbow as they swapped positions many times. But when the
checkered flag came out, Fowler
happened LO be in the right place at
the right time and crossed the finish
line out in front. However, Sommo's
1-2 combination was enough LO edge
Fowler's 3-1 for the overall. Flores
fi nished third.
In the first 250cc Pro moLO, it was
once again Sommo and Fowler du!
