Indiana's Dave Hebb left Troy
with the series title in his hip pocket:
Hebb came to Troy with a sevenpoint lead over Dan Ingram, 51lO 44.
Besides Ingram, (our other riders had
a shot at the title. Brow was third in

Morris were tied (or fourth with 42,
and Mike Rhoads entered the (inal

Hebb's (irst outing, in the night's

Ingram both (ell twice and under series rules they were d;isquali(ied. Hebb
then finished third in the night's seventh race and concern showed on his
face.
"Sure, I'm concerned but I just
have lO keep my cool and do well in
my next three races," said Hebb..
Hebb did just that as he won his

Brow, Honda-mounted like Hebb,
finished second in the (inal point
