Harts thump at MurrayST By Karen Lewis MURRAY, KY, SEPT. 27 Hart Cycle Repair rider Redl and Ray Hart were on the gas today at Murray Short Track. In the Open class, Kevin Woodruff led the pack into the first turn ahead of Bruce Fiser and Recil Hart. Fiser set after Woodruff trying the outside LO make a move, while Hart tried his luck down low. On the third lap, Hart squared off the corner heading into the front straight and slipped underneath both riders and .take the Boehmer emerge winners after s,,¥eeping their respective classes, despite racing under rainy condition~, Beyer used a I-I tally to secure the I25cc Pro crown, while Beohmer used a 1-1-1 score to top the 125cc C class competition. Ten riders used 1-1-1 tallies to nail down top laurel in their respective classes during the lengthy threemoto-format program. One such superb ride came from Hondamounted Pat Jordan, winner of the Open B class competition. In all three motos, Jordan had to pass Kawasaki rider Wes Han on before taking the win. Jordan's sweep of the class wasn't enough to snag the class championship, however, as Hanson's combined 'scores from the previous day netted the local speedster the title by a point over David HampLOn. Boehmer made a killing in the 125cc C class, going for a total rout on his Liberty Road Inn Honda. Boehmer, who was a no-show the previous day and out of contention for the class crown, breezed to an easy win over Eric Rogers. MOlo two was much the same story. Boehmer burned the competition to go into the final moto with I-I rides. Boehmer edged out Cagiva rider Eric Law to complete his sweep of the class. He beat Law (3-4-2) and Rogers (2-3-4). Professional action was the best racing of the day, even though only one 250cc Pro was on hand; he ran with the I25cc Pros. In the first moto it was Taylor Honda's Gary Beyer taking the lead over Kawasakimounted Larry Brumwell, Keith Foidel and Dennis Sweeten. Sweeten, who was KX250-mounted, moved into second after displacing both Brumwell and Foidel and gave Beyer fiLS until crashing and dropping back to midpack. The 125cc B riders ran with the Pros bUl started in a separate wave a quaner-lap down. The day's incredible performance came in the B class [rom Tony Graves. Graves made up a huge deficit and passed all the Pros except Beyer and Foidel in the first two motos. Beyer won moLO two after nabbing Foidel late in the moLO for the Pro win, while Graves won the 125ccBoverall with 1-2-1 rides to secure the lass title over Darren Rogers and Monty Spalding. Other class winners in the sloppy day of racing included Old Timer Money winner Jim Lamkin (Honda) who won all three motos and Ryan Huffman, winner of the BOcc B class after posting come-from-behind rides. Lone A rider Jeff Daily easily topped the BOcc motos, but it was Huffman taking the overaJl BOcc title, edging
