in Portland. Oregon. Dubach earned the win with a 2-1 performance.
DuBach flies at
Delta Park MX

PORTLAND, OR, AUG. 21
Yamaha-mounted Doug DuBach went 2-1 to edge out
Grayson Hart's 1-2 and claim
the overall win in the 125cc Pro
class LOnight at Portland's Delta Park
motocross.
In the first molO, Han got the
scratch followed by DuBach, Mike
Bell, Jamie Munson, Ernie Roberts,
and Vince Warren. The first four
positionsLremained the same for the
entire race. Behind the from-runners
Warren and Roberts dueled, with
Warren finally getting the nod. At
the checkered flag, the order read
Hart, DuBach, Bell, Munson, Warren
and Roberts.
In the second moLO, DuBach got
the holeshOl, followed by Hart, Munson, Bell, Warren and Roberts. On
lap two, Bell moved by Munson, but
the ballle between them cominued.
On lap six, Munson repaid the favor,
and on the nimh lap Bell went by
again, and made it stick. Meanwhile,
DuBach and Hart were flying up
from. The crowd was going wild as
they sensed Hart's domination of the
class finally coming to an end, at
least for tonight. DuBach led Hart
when the checkered flag came out.
Behind them in order was Bell, Munson, Warren and Roberts.
In the first l25cc B class moto, exBMX star Ed Jensen took the lead
over David Browning, Duane Redding, Paul Rosenow, Darren Rogers
and Ben Parker. Jensen and Browning were flying, while Rogers was
trying to make up for a poor start. By
lap three, Rogers was up LO third and
ready to go by Browning, which he
did a lap later. Dan Gregory moved
upa spot, as did Jason Schiele. Jensen
looked good, but with one lap to go
Rogers was right on his rear wheel.
Finally Rogers slid by on the inside,
just in time to take the lead and the
checkered flag. Behind Jensen in order
was Browning, Dana Anderson, who
came from way back with a super
ride, Redding, Dan Gregory, Rosenow, and Ray Grossaim.
Browning was out of the gate
quickly in the final moLO, followed
by Jensen, Anderson, Rogers, Rosenown, Rob Steiner, G,egory and
Grossainl. Steiner and Wiles were the
first riders to make a move; each
advanced one position. On lap three,
Anderson moved into second, and on
the next -lap he took over the lead.
Rogers and Steiner also moved a
notch and Wiles wem by Rosenow.
With a lap LO go, Steiner passed Rogers, and Redding moved up a notch.
At the checkered flag the order went:
Anderson, Browning, Steiner, Rogers, Jensen, Gregory, Wiles, and
Redding.•
