The new Kawasaki KX250 ~as a revised long-stroke motor, for midrange
and low end power. The Un!-Trak rear suspension has new linkages similar
tot.he 1986 KX125 with 13 inches of wheel travel. The Kayaba shock has
a.plggyback reservoir with external damping adjustments, and the front
disc brake has a larger disc anctcaliper.
The RM250 Suzuki (above) will have a rear dillc brake. The 125
!'l0tor (below) now has a new power valve that alters port timing
Instead of exhaust volume and has smaller ports. Gone is the case
induction intake for a full reed-valve. The crank is smaller for a
quicker-revving motor. Suzuki says the new Suzuki RM125 has as
much low- and top-end power as the '86 Honda CR 125.
