NMA GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPIO SHIPS. PONCA CITY; OK. AUG. 4-10, 1986. Kawasaki riders and their KX's rocked the Ponca City Grand Nationals like theyVe never been rocked before, winning an unprecedented 17 championships, 18 2nds, and 15 3rds. Lowell Thomson went gold in the 125cc Stock Intermediates, then did the same in the 125cc Modified Intermediates for an encore. Jason Langford headlined the l05cc 12+ class. AndJeff Emig's performance in the 83cc Stock Experts 12+ had Superstar Donny Sclunit was the leading attraction in the 125cc Stock Pros, 125cc Modified Pros, and 250cc Modified Pros. Sclunit put on such a frrst-class show he was awarded the NMA Grand National Motorcycle Championship for being the top pro rider. the crowd yelling for more.
