'(")h,"1 The Camel Pro TT race at Santa Fe Speedway is now history and I am sure that the Camel Pro Series has again lost some more of its potential spectators. The first race was advertised on WGN Radio to be started at 2:00 p.m. As happens at many Camel Pro races, they were late getting the first race underway. Would you believe the first race started at 3:32 p.m.? It is time for the AMA to take a hard look at the performance of the people who are running these races and find some real professionals to take over and get these races started on time. It is not fair to spectators, the promoters or to Camel Cigarettes to let these people continue in their unprofessional ways. Of all the major sporting events run in the world, I don't think you can point to very many that are not started on time.
