lap four, second on lap five and took
the lead on lap six when Bluth stumbled briefly. Jim Ryder had been chasing Murphy during his rise to the
front and moved into second. Murphy
took the moto with Ryder at second.
Murphy got the hoJeshot in moto
two with Bluth righton his back and
they were never more than a few
lengths apart for the entire race. Bluth
made a maximum try for the lead
with only two turns left in the race,
but Murphy slammed the door in his
face and took the win by inches.
