When roadracer extraordinaire Eddie
Lawson went to the South ofFrance, it was no,
how you sa:y, vacation.
It was for round eight of the World GP
Roadracing Series. Motorcycling's creme de la
creme going tete a tete aboard the world's
best motorcycles.
Most of which are Yamahas. Afact made
abundantly clear by Eddies first place finish
(his fifth ofthe season) aboard hisYamaha And
Randy Marnola's second place finish aboard his
Yamaha And Christian Sarron's third place
finish aboard hisYamaha And Mike Baldwin's
fourth place finish aboard his Yamaha
. In fact, Yamaha riders took five of the top
six places. Which brings us to one rather
obvious conclusion.
Riding a Yamaha is the best way to say
au revoir to your competition.
