By Rolfe Otterness KELLOGG, M ,JULY 4 Lonnie Bredeson put together an overall win in the Open Expert class with 2-2 moLO finishes at Midway Recreation Park's Disrrict2'3 race. Mickey Mickelson led all the way in the first moto, but the action behind him was intense. Bredeson dueled with Mike Fox for most of the moto only LO get by with two laps left. He held on to elaim second with Fox and JeH Sorensen trailing. The lone European bike hauled its pilot, Kirk Anderson, lo a win in the next moto. Bredeson's Honda brought him second behind M-Star-moumed Anderson and Sorensen snatched Michelson's overall from him by taking third away on the last lap. Bredeson LOok his first overall Expert win. Chris Brunhozl nailed the start in the urstl25cclmermediate mota with his practice buddy John Getz close behind. Brunhozl poured it on to secure a solid win with Getz maintaining second. Jay Pavlovec LOok third under heavy pressure from Jeff Colbert, who survived several misfortunes en route LO his fourth place finish. Getz leapt out from in the second mota while Brunhozl failed to finish even one lap. Colbert charged lo the win after displacing Getz on the last lap.
