World Qass GP riders are not easy people to
please. But when they like a motorcycle, it shows.
This years Fonnula One race at Laguna Seca
demonstrated just how happy the world's best
riders are with Yamahas.
Mike Baldwin turned in sizzling 2-1 finishes
aboard hisV-4Yamaha, edging out RandyMamola
who finished 1-2 with his V4 Yamaha.

Justbecause we bUilt the motorcycles, we cant
take full credit for these results. Mike and Randy
are two of the most talented riders around.
Then again, Cycle News did report in its July
23, 1986 issue that,"The Hondas...were visibly
not working as well as the Yamahas.. ~'
And it only makes sense that the worlds best
riders aren't going to be happy with anything less
than the world's best motorcycles.
