Team Husqvama rewrote the Baja 500 record book as they rode their Autolite powered machines to the top 3 places overall with Garth Sweetland and Scot Harden first, setting a blistering 58.12 mph pace over the entire 500 miles. Veteran Larry Roeseler teamed with Kurt Pfeiffer to take second while Dan Smith and Dan Ashcraft finished third overall, a scant 4 minutes back. Each team relied on the power and dependability of Autolite Motorcycle Spark Plugs to put them in the winner's circle. And that's a place that Autolite powered machines have been seeing quite a lot of lately. Congratulations, Team Husqvama. r1i--. II • Allied Manufactures Fram.
