A.A 8ldtIe of the Twins: Round" Church breaks, Adamo wins By John Ulrich Photos by Jim Quinn ELKHART LAKE, WI, JU E 8 Team Leoni's Jimmy Adamo won the Battle of the Twins final at Road America on a 750cc Ducali when early leader Gene Church's 1000cc Harley-Davidson suffered a mechanical problem and didn't finish the race. Church's retirement moved up third-place Malcol me Tunstall and his immaculate Syd's Cycles Bimota/Ducati into second place overall, with racing orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dave Kieffer third on his Ducati. Team Leoni tuner Reno Leoni's latest version of his venerable Ducati 9O-based racer is faster than the team's TTl 750cc Ducati on longer tracks, and Adamo lapped faster in practice on the larger, older machine.
