Hart wem the rest of the race chasing Bray, many times alongside but nothing was going to take this win away from Bray. At the checkered it was Bray, Hart, Olsen, ~ell and Roberts. In moLO two Olsen got the scratch followed by Bell, Roberts, Hart and Bray. On lap' two Hart moved past Roberts and began pressuring Bell. On the third lap Bell and Hart wem in to first and second respectively. From here on these guys put on a show that was absolutely great. Lapafter-lap Hart pushed Bell, but Bell contin.ued to hold Hart back. On lap eight Hart was right next to Bell coming down the west downhill section but once more Bell came out first. With one lap to go they were next LO each other for almost half a lap. Coming over the big infield jump Hart looked like he was going by Bell, when he veered left, through the banners, and back on to the track 15 yards back. Within a 100 feet Hart was all over Bell again but Bell held off the Kawasaki pilot by half a bikelength at the flag. The crowd was going wild as the Pros crossed the line for the last time. In order it was BeII, Ha rt, 40 yards back LO Bray, then Olsen and Roberts. In the 125cc B class it was holeshot artist Darren Rogers taking the scratch ahead of David Browning, Sean Reisterer, Bob Steiner, Dean Brundidge, Tim Wiles and the others. On lap twO Steiner, Ed Jensen, Chad Gravelle and Mike Chase all moved up at least one position. Jensen and Chase were side-by-side for a1 most a * EXCEL * TRAVELEZE i' I~p'd~~ on tbetlnrll'l3p Chase ~ei1t by for good but Jensen remained ultra close. Meanwhile Wiles went down and fell a lap behind while Brundidge moved up a notch, With one lap to go the duo of Jen en and Chase blew by Reisterer and the finishing order was set. Atthe checkered it was Rogers, then Browning, Steiner, Brundidge, Chase, Jensen, Reisterer _and the others. In the final moto Rogers did it getting the holeshot and going wire-to-wire. Behind him in order was Wiles, Browning, Steiner, Chase, Brundidge,. Jensen and the others. Rogers soon had 40 yards up on the others. Mean while Steiner was all over Browning like a wet blanket, never letting him get away. Lap-afterlap they battled but the order remained the same. With the white flag coming out, Jensen made a move on Wiles stick and the final order was set. At the flag it was Rogers, Browning. Steiner. Chase. Brundidge. Gravelle. Reisterer, Jensen and Wiles.
