checkered for $400 from Yamaha and another $100 of CCS cash purse.' Harth's newest help/sponsor comes from Florida's Dave Rhodenbaugb, who in hanging up his racing leathers has made his highly kiued equipment available. After a bad start, Frank Fillingham jumped from fifth to second by lap twO in the big Middleweight uperbike ovice field. He soon found his way around Patrick Harris (FJ600 mounted) and once again outraced the FJ600-dominated field on his Toomey-built RZ350 for the checkered, 17 bigger bored machines followed him acros the line. Clearwater Florida's Chuck Quenzier proved himself once again the undisputed kingofRD's with a cleancut win in Middleweight Superbike Expert over Blackwell and FJ600mounted Tully. In Formula Two Expert Quenzlr was still hot as he rode the Chuck's Automotive Machine/Bameys Yamaha/Suncoast Cycle RD400 to a photo finish after a race long ballle with Atlanta's Tully nelling Quenzler his second win of the day; Blackwell wa third in that contest. Dennis Johnson followed Mississippi's hot shoe Jimmy Mosley for nine laps before pulling off a last lap pass to take the flag in Heavyweight Superbike Novice on his Premier Cycles-sponsored FZ750. Mike Harth returned to wade through a fast pack in Heavyweight Superbike to hallie the FZ750 dominated pack on his borrowed ride. Fairfax, Virginia rider Joe elson crashed hard in turn five, leaving Harth to keep ahead of Jeff Farmer for the win bringing his weekend take to $1000. A large Formula Two ovice field seemingly belonged to RZ ace Frank Fillingham until he straightened out turn five. After a gallant save from the Georgia sand spurs, Fillingham cut through the field and was soon back in the hunt, bumping Keith Miller back to third and finishing second to Kawasaki of Pensacola sponsored Alan Jacobs. Novice racing continued in Unlimited Superbike with Jimmy Mosley jumping out in front of a tremendous race for second through fifth a pole Siller Dennis Johnson held off Stephen Burgener, Bernard Lajoie and James Groves. Lajoie crashed in turn four giving second to Johnson with Burgener and Grove following. The Expert version was no less exciting with a race long duel between K&P Cycle Jeff Farmer and Schwing Racing's Bryan Schwing going at it took and nail. Harth dropped out early with mechanical problems (sorry Buddy Keller) leaving the twO to settle it at the finish line. Schwing passed Farmer on the last lap and the two drag raced down the longstraightaway with Farmer breaking the draft and winnig by half a bikelength. Blackwell rounded out his weekend by taking the Lightweight Superbike race, winning by the length of the front straight.
