Mark Schledorn was the star of Sunday's WERA regional sprints. Schledorn powered his Suzuki GSXR750 superbike to victories in A and B Superbike as well as the Formula One contest. In the Formula One race Kevin Blais jumped out to lead all of the race except for the most important pan, crossing the finish line. Crossing the line in front of Blais was Schledom wbo made his move on the fast lap to get by Blais. Another close contest was the C Production Novice race. Paul Bray and Glen Cooper led early before the halfway point. On the last lap Ben Beasley seemingly came from nowhere to take the lead and the win. Jeff James had crashed the day before in the endurance race and was told at the hospital that he had a cracked bone in his neck. Well James showed up to race Sunday neck brace and all and went on to take second in the B Production race and third in A Production. Ron Ewerth won $900 from Yamaha on Sunday by winning the A and B Production races on his Cycle Nuts & Bolts Yamaha FZ750. Ewerth also took founh in C Production on a Yamaha FJ600. • ONE NIGHT ONLY ~ TH£4t \i OUr The Grandaddy of Motorcycle Racing, the Original SUPERBOWL OF MOTOCROSS XV THIS YEAR Special Danny "Magoo" Chandler Fund Raiser During Intermission Show Magoo You Care Results OVERALL: 1.
