Troy Fisher (74) followed Dave Readinger (27) until Readinger crashed at the halfway mark in Pine Grove, Pennyslvania, win for a flawless I-I score for the overall. Pearce finished second overall, while another Suzuki rider Mark Brown finished third. The start of the first Open Amateur moLO saw John Wrublevski jam into the lead, followed by Kraig Constantino, who soon bailed, giving second LO Graham Kimble. Constantino, however, got up; back on the gas and soon found the hot line inLO the lead. Kimble then shot by Wrublevski, but Wrublevski soon retaliated. Wrublevski almost lost his second-place posi'tion again when he stalled it in a turn. At the finish it was Constantino, Wrublevski and Kimble. "I had a bad start in really deep sand," said Constantino. "I had to move at the gate just before the moLO started. I tried to cut inside of the leader going into the first turn, and I just slid out. When I was gelling up, I fell again." Constantino led from start to finish in round two, while Kimble and Wrublevski ballied. Just before getting the checkered flag, Kimble crashed while in third. But while picking up his bike, he saw that Wrublevski had stalled. Kimble quickly picked up his Honda; passed Wrublevski and took second. "John rode well," said Kimble. "I went down right at the end and pulled my gear off, thinking that was it. I looked up and saw that he was without power. He gave it to me!" Results 60 AM: ,. Chris Allen (Kaw); 2.
