When h e ga ssed his Metzeler street tires a bit too hard on th e third la p he crashed down an d o u t. From then on the ra ce belonged to Joe Pitt ma n and h is GSXR750 Suzuki. He slith ered hi s way to victory in front of Bellevue Suzuki's Chuck Wiley and Doug Ren frow .
