Last month,we gave a HondaVFR700
Interceptor to 14 professional riders and let'em loose
in Laredo. Except for tires, rims and a smaller rear
sprocket theVFR700F was completely stock.
Twenty-four hourslater, they'd ridden an astonishing 3,333.7 milesat a blisteringaverage speed of
over138 mph. .
Honda's new record is over10mphfaster and
200 milesfarther than Suzuki'seffort. And keep
in mind-we pitted our700 against their750.
Along the way; we alsograbbed the 6-hour
and 12-hour records plusset new100-kilometer
and1,OOO-kilometer records.
At the finish line, theVFR700F had gone farther and faster in 24 hours than any other motorcycle in the world.
