The Senior Min i title fell to Stevie Ch ildress with Bobby Stova ll scoring his first ser ies cha m p ions hip in the I25cc Schoolboy class. Robby Nee ley a nd Mike Looney stormed off the ga te in the first 125cc Pro / Am mo to wi th Loo ney diving into th e lead over Nee ley and Robbie Tay lor. La p two saw Neeley wi th the lead a nd T aylor in hot pursuit , while Looney faded. T aylor sailed pas t Neeley headin g into the roc kers and pu lled away as Gerald Wood appeared in third. Taylor too k thewin over Neeley, while Wood settled for thi rd over Seth Tharin a nd Looney , Wood passed Taylor for the lead at the sta rt of rn ot o two wit h Taylor go ing down, Tha rin cha rged to second and stayed there with Neeley third over Taylor. Yamaha of O rangeburg's Mike Fraylick d ueled wit h l25cc C class points leader Sco tt Darno ld and wo n the first rn ot o o ver Darnol d a nd J ason Koenig with Craig Bar bour fourth . Darnold ret urned the favor in the seco nd race a nd beat Fra ylick to th e flag with Koen ig holding off Lonnie T aylor for th ird. Darnold clinched th e series over Steve Add ington and T aylor . Barr's Will iam Mutim er gave Stevie Childress a fit in the first Senior Min i moto until Ch ildress sq ueezed past and took th e win . Trey Phillips fol low ed for third with Stacey Barnett fourth , Moto two wa s a three-wa y battle for the lead as Barnett and Mutimer took turns o u t front with Childress in tow. Childress was hot a nd m oved past for the win and the series titl e. Mutirner was seco nd for th e da y a nd th e series over Phillips.
