Unfort u na tely th is was th e last race of the yea r for o u r n ew fo u nd track next to 1-5 a nd fo ur miles north of Centralia. T he 80cc class was load ed wi th riders an d sp lit into two h ea t races. T he first th ree finishe rs in each heat transferred 10 the A main wi th the rema inder going to th e B main . In th e first h eat it wa s Chuck G ross co mi ng off th e line in fro n t. Beh ind hirri in orde r wa s Darr ell Norman . J eff Mi lbo urn , Ed R ichards, Kenny Revel and Guy Gil l.
