It was the third event of the 1986 Suzuki National Cup Series. The event was the opening round of the
WERA Mid-Atlantic regional competition in Roebling Road, Georgia.
And as expected, Suzuki's awesome GSX-Rs doused the rest of the pack.
The Suzuki riders in the 750 class were brimming-over with confidence. And as a result, Suzuki swept
the top 15 places, with Mike Harth in 1st, Ron Ewerth in 2nd and Doug Polen in 3rd.
