At the Daytona Beach Supercross, a simple fact became
crystal clear: if you're not on a Honda, you lose.
Rick Johnson and David Bailey; each on a CR250R with a
Honda P~r Port and Pro-Link'" suspension, smoked everybody. They wound up 1-2 and padded their 1-2 positions in the
point standings.
Meanwhile, Keith Turpin, on a 1986 CRl25R with ATAC'" and
Pro-Link suspension, kicked sand in everybody's face in the 125
Pro-Am class. He aced the main event and stretched his lead in the .
point standings.
For Honda, Daytona was terrific. For everybody
else, Daytona was just a beach.
