Mike Horsley was Blackburn's closest competition as he handily won the first mota, but finished third in malO two for second overall.· Kawasaki rider Joe Pearle from New Port Richey, Florida, led the first lap of the malO one, but had his hands full with Horsley (Han), Steve Vickors (Suz) and Blackburn right on his heels.
