$285,000 1986 '8.2 Here's your chanceto get on the fast track to fame and fortune with Suzuki It's the 1986 SuzukiGSX-R National Cup Series. You've heard about them.You've read about them. And a few of the lucky and privileged have actually seen them.They are Suzuki's internationally acclaimed GSX-RllOO and the bike that holds the 24-hour world speed record, the GSX-R750.They're yours for '86. Two machines that go beyond speed and style. These circuit breakers could be your big break. The AFM,WERA, AAMRR, MRA and OMRR will sanction a series of events that will qualifyfor the 1986 Suzuki GSX-R Contingency Program. There will be a contingency paid to the winning riders of GSX-R750 Stock and GSX-RllOO Open Stock Production Race Classes per eventas sanctioned by participating clubs. As for our Limited EditionGSX-R750R owners, they will compete in the separate 750 Superbike Class, Therefore, they are not eligible for the 1986 Suzuki National Cup Series. Takea look at that purse again, that's pretty serious money. But it'sjust the beginning. The top five racers from each participating club in the 750 Stock Production Classracing a Suzuki GSX-R75O, plusthe top three racers in the Open Stock ProductionClass racing a Suzuki GSX-RllOO will be invited to the special 1986 Suzuki GSX-R National CupSeries Final. This eventwill take place at the Road Atlanta Raceway in Georgia on November 8th and 9th.
