The competition was starving for attention last week, as Suzuki-mounted Jim Tarantino
captured the 125cc Championsh ip at the Golden State Nationals in Hungry Valley.
It was the final event of the series. The smell of victory was in the air.
Jim and his RM 125 were so close to winning the championship he could almost taste it. And
by the time the second moto was over, his 2-1 score had the rest of the pack eating their hearts out.
As for the competition, some food for thought: next time,
