Bridgestone's new 1 10/80-18 Cyrox-03 front (left) and 140/70-18 Cyrox-04 radials are standard eq uipment on 1986 GSXR750s im po rt e d into the U.S. By John Ulrich There are a lot of theoretical advantages to radial motorcycle tires, including damping chassis forces before they start a wobble, a sm oo ther ride over bumps, less cha tter, a lack of tire growth a t high speed . in creased load-carry ing ability, cooler running, lo nger mi leage. But the last tim e we tested streetlegal , high -performance radial rno to rcycl e tires a ga i nst the best street- 24 lega l, high-performan ce bias-belted motor cycle tires, th e radia ls were less th an impressive.
