• Your 500 Interceptor" is more than a great sport bike. It's your ticketto a shot at thousands ofdollars and a season ofgreat racing on the local club level. American Honda is sponsoring the 1986 500 InterceptorChampionship Series, open to anyone on a 500 Interceptor. The Championship Series is run byfive regional road race clubsthe AFM, WERA, AAMRR, MRA and OMRRA. Each club will hold its own schedule ofevents, with payouts to the - top five finishers in each race. First place will pay out $700, second $400, third $200, fourth $125 and fifth $75. At the end ofthe season, the top five riders in points standings from each club will be invited to the Championship Series Finalat Road Atlanta.The $20,000 Final will payout to the top 20 positions, with $5,00.0 going to the winner.
