I think I was fifth, so normally that'd be good, but it was a bit dusty," said Strang. "I got into third and I wanted to push because Kailub was just a little bit in front, but I a lapper, and he tried to cut out of the rut and go up the hill early to just get by the lapper on the last lap. I had enough room to get behind the lapper and take the main line that was faster. I passed him and the lapper at the same time. It was all downhill from there." Having spent the recent quarantine period recovering from a broken leg, Toth, who finished 7-6-8-7 at the previous four rounds, was looking for his first win in West Virginia and was obviously disappointed. Mr. Consistency Josh Strang continued his streak of podium finishes.
