We featured the World Superbike Championship from Laguna Seca in
Cycle News 20 years ago. Yamaha's Noriyuki Haga and Aprilia's Troy
Corser shared the wins; Nicky Hayden won the Superbike National
that same weekend... Road racer Jamie Bowman passed away from
the injuries he suffered when he crashed during Superbike practice
at Laguna Seca... Valentino Rossi captured his first-ever 500cc
Grand Prix win at Donington Park 20 years ago... Will Davis won the
Hutchinson Half Mile in Kansas.
