ailub Russell made a spectacular
last-second pass to come away
with his 67th XC1 GNCC win at
the High Voltage GNCC in Maidsville,
West Virginia, in what was an exciting
and dramatic finish. His FMF/KTM
teammate Josh Toth settled for a disap-
pointing second, having led the majority
of the race in what appeared would be
his first career GNCC win.
Adding a bit of intrigue to the race,
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna brought in
Supercross star Zach Osborne to ride
Trevor Bollinger's bike since both Bol-
linger and Thad Duvall (the team's two
XC1 riders) have been sidelined with
injuries.
