Johnson (H o n) took first pl ace by losing only 18 po ints. Mark Holtz, mounted on a three-wheeled , 250 Yam aha , fin ished 19 points down to ti e Cor seco nd with Brian Larcom (Yam) . Once into th e lead, Cooper cou ldn' t be touched , a lthough Do ug Fellers tri ed. After a mi dpack start, Fell ers worked his wa y into seco nd but cras hed a few laps la ter.
