N O V. 9 Cycle Tech, via a consistent and trouble-free ride in the Six H o u rs of Road Atlan ta, took home the win and the series title in the same stroke. David Aldana, John Kocinski and Joey O sowski, aboard th e Cycle Tech Suzu ki GSXR750, ro lled o u t 199 laps (497.5 mil es) o n the 2.5-mile Road Atl anta ro ad .8 co urse to bea t the GS XR 750 of Brid geport Ka wasak i a nd tea m riders Forbes Du gu id , Paul Mil es a nd Kevin Rent zell by two laps. Speed Bo ys. wh o came into th e round as th e o n ly o ther team with a real cha nce to upset Cycle T ech 's tit le hopes, fin ish ed third o vera ll with Larry Burkhold er. Moen, th e only Kaw asaki-mounted en try in a sea of Yamaha riders, was involved in an eight-rider freight train during the openi ng laps which slo wly whittl ed i tself down to a three-ri der duel a t th e fini sh. Bart Peterson led to th e halfway flags with Moen th en tak ing o ver.
