Mo torrad-Industrie e.V. held the 100 Jahre Motorrad exhibition in Munich, Germany's Olympia-Park. T he ex hibition featured 84 historic motorcycles and dozens
of separate motorcycle engines, ranging from the 1885 Daimler/ Maybac h 264cc
Reitwagen to the 1985 Suzuki GSXR750. The Germans celebrated the anniversary
in August, the month w hen the first patents were issued on the R eituiagen, and the
exhibition ran from August 2 to September 8; the actual anniversary of the first
motorcycle ride is November 10. Here are shots taken in Munich in September...Editor.
