Dodd Dyson , o n a Marrineaux H ond a , pas sed T arl eton o n lap o ne, went in sid e o f West o n th e back straigh t on lap two , then p ushed Dar cy for second place until lap five. Dyson went inside Darcy com in g out of turn two o n th e fifth ci rcu it then held Darcy o ff for the next three la ps; taking second pl ace behind the hard-charging Sweet.
