FIguratively because only 56 days afteritsintroduction, it beganwinning races. And literally becauseTeam Speedboys (Larry Burkholder; Bob Frank,Marc Heiser; Jim Thbou and JohnYurejefcic) rode one to victory in the 24 Hours ofNelson Ledges endurance race. One day and one night in lovely Warren, Ohio leftmuch ofthe competition's machinery in shambles. But the FZ750 rolled up 999 lapsfor a total of1,998 racing miles with nothing more than a few tire changes. The Speedboys then went on toAtlanta where they piloted theirFZ750 toanother win, this time in an eighthour endurance race. Meanwhile, JimVreeke took first aboard yetanother FZ750 in the Kerker ~=!Il!!! ~!! Series Superbike race ___ = atWIllow Springs. ••• And Ricky Orlando andKirk Dimick used an FZ750 to capture the 12th Annual MRA Aspen Six-HourRoad Race in Aspen, Colorado. In fact, another FZ750 took second and an RZ350 took third. So you cansee that the FZ750 will endure just about anything. Except losing. YAMAHA We make the difference- 2
