wrapped up th e title in event 17,

got to th e corner first and rode on 10
victory, with 14 points o n the nigh t.

fourth win of the night to lock u p

to Yarrow , who was sto p ped in his
bid for seco nd o vera ll in th e final
heat of th e ni ght wh en " Rocket Rod "
Su lliva n won h is seco nd even t of th e
night. Su ll ivan scored two points in
hi s fir st event, th en lost a n engine in
his seco nd event. H e borrowed Mick
Obradovi ch 's Weslake a nd won hi s
third event, th en twi sted the front end
wh en' he cras hed ha rd in event 14; it
was thi s th at ca used th e restart in
which Curry edged Delacy. Sullivan
put h is good front end on Obradovich 's bik e in time for hi s last heat
which h e won, dropping Yarrow to
third overall.
